Do I need to make an appointment to have an animal slaughtered?

Yes, please see the list of Slaughter Butchers in your area.

How much freezer space will I need?
  • Whole beef 25 cu ft
  • 1/2 beef 12 cu ft
  • Whole hog 12 cu ft
  • 1/2 hog 7 cu ft
  • Whole lamb. 5 cu ft
  • Wild game 5-10 cu ft
How long will my meat last in the freezer?

Approximately 3 years if the packages remain sealed and the vacuum seal tight. I'd the package "pops" and fills with air use within a month to avoid freezer burn.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash and all major credit cards. No checks.

Can I divide my animal?

Yes!
Lambs, Goats, Hogs in 1/2's only

Beef in 1/2's or 1/4's

Must specify the desire to divide at the time instructions are given we will not divide them once frozen and complete.

Note: 1/4 divides on beef do have an additional .10c per pound charge to divide.

Beat time to have an animal slaughtered?

January-April: This is the best time to schedule animals for slaughter with the most available spots for all species of animal.

May-July: This is our busiest time of the year to schedule ranch animals because it is fair season. We have the fewest spots available this time of year for ranch animals and these spots are usually booked full by January each year. Would suggest scheduling this time frame at least 6 months prior.

Sept-Dec: Less availability than Jan-April as it is deer season however this time of year we have a lot of open availability. Plan approximately 2-3 months prior this time of year.
